NORMAK3 Father's Day Weekend Wrap-Up
Captain Matt reports it was a great weekend to be out with the Dad's! Fluke fishing on the other hand was a little tough for us he said. A handful of keepers and shorts on most trips but overall, it was tough. There was a good amount of current on Saturday which could of shut them down for the day. The Captain says he did see an improvement Sunday afternoon with 1-2 keepers and some shorts on each drift. Nothing great but better than what we seen over on Saturday's trips. There should be more Fluke moving in from offshore and as the water gets warmer. They should start biting a little more agressive! The new Monthly Pool leading Fluke is a little over 8lbs caught on Saturday mornings trip!
Same story with the Bluefish Matt says. Saturday was tough for us but did see a little better life tonight. We caught a handful of 7-10lb Blues and lost some as well. There is a lot of bait in the area so hopefully we will see them start schooling up better within the next few nights! SAILING 7 DAYS A WEEK FOR FLUKE AND NIGHT BLUES! 8AM-12:30PM AND 2PM-6:30PM FOR FLUKE 7:30PM-1AM FOR BLUES! For more information, please give us a shout at 732-496-5383! www.normakfishing.com
