I go from the beach. I go when I can so if it looks calm I don't pay much attention to the tides. Although - I should. I got swept a half mile down the beach last night and had a LONG walk back. I hate diving from the beach. Boat is much better but to get a boat to the Shrewsbury Rocks is a long trip. I can get form my house in Oceanport - to in the water in Monmouth Beach in about 10 minutes. Takes about an hour and a half each way by boat. Always looking for new spearfishing buddies.
