Default D&R Feeder Canal

Yesterday after work my wife suggested why don't I got fishing for a while. So I headed down to the canal. When I got to my spot two guy where already there fishing for carp. I shot the bull with them for a while and they hadn't even gotten any bites so they were heading home. As soon as they left I tossed in a big nightcrawler and hooked up with a decent brown. Got him landed and watched my other rod's line start to peel off. I picked it up and set the hook. A big carp was on. He jumped a few times and from the feel and look of him I knew he was bigger than the last one I caught. He fought real hard and took a bunch of runs, it seemed every time I thought I was going to get him in he took off again. After about 20 minutes of this I finally got him into a shallow section of the canal by the bridge and was able to reach down with long nose pliers and remove the hook. It was right in the conner of him mouth so real easy release I never even touched him. I'm guessing it went about 12-15 lbs. Love to catch these carp, man do they fight hard.

Cap fishing seems to getting popular. From what I've been reading it is very popular in the UK.
