Any thoughts on bass fishing fri? Will there be to much fresh water and think the bay will be to messed up for a day of fishing. I know bass like it turned up but this is a lot of rain. I live an hour away and I trailor so I thought of talking advice before. Thanks Pete

im not a professional fisherman , but my guess is that if bass will travel up fresh water rivers to spawn , then the rain wont affect them . on the other hand if it were fluke or blues something like that ,then it would cut the salinity for them and move them further out....feel free to correct me if im wrong

I was wondering the same thing....I'm scheduled to go out Friday AM.....I was figuring the blow would have them chewing......but not sure if salinity levels or freshwater runoff will effect the bass.

I know from experience that fishing in the river is usually always off for a day or two after a big rain. I'm not sure what it does to the bay. With all the fish around I'm sure you'll find a few hungry bass by the second incoming tide on Friday. Good luck.
