Default Striper report

Finally broke the cherry on my newly purchased 24ft Rampage the Optomist. Trolled stretch 25`s out front and within 5 minutes of trolling, it was game on as the line came tight on a beautiful 30 inch striper. The kiss of death came when my buddy, which has been my friend since kindergarten, commented after I brought in the first fish, ahh don`t worry about it there will be more... Yes, that`s all it took, that was it for the rest of the day after about 4 more hours of trolling on a beautiful day. Great day with a great friend.

Congrats on the new boat and your first striper on the new boat I had an 1985 Rampage 24 for many years.Great boat ,very comfortable family fishing boat. WE fished from inside the bay to offshore 40 plus miles for tuna and sharks. Very sea worthy 24' ! I sold mine a few years ago. Good luck with her
