Default On the board with trout

Out fishing the local lake (Fayson). Trolled about 3 hours looking for trout and nailed a 14" brown. After 1 trout in 3 hours I decided to see if the bass were biting. Tossed a jig and had three follows back to the boat, but they turned around when they saw the boat. All three were good sized. Switched to a Swimming Senko on a drop shot and had 3 solid hits, but no hookups. They're out there and in fairly shallow water (8-10 feet).

A few days of warmer weather should get things moving. Thanx for checking in.

The last 3 times to Spring Lake in the past 2 weeks, nothing has touched any powerbait or spinners.... the only thing I've been catching rainbows on are corn kernels.... go figure.
