Bassin Blast
Left the dock around 7 saw the fleet decided to stay off them a bit. Found a nice piece off bottom and nice marks stopped short anchored up. Waited a little bit and gottem going. Sven of the hook put on the clinic today. Jamie started us off pretty good. Matt AKA the Helmut kept us laughing and did some catchen too!! I just shucked calms and broken them over the side I managed a few. But I kept getting distracted by Sven with another fish. I can honestly say we had a blast and laughed all day. Nothing better than friends, fish and laughs!!!! Did I mention Sven caught most of his fish in the as* lol. We also decided to open a new business
Helmets on First !!! For us special boys and girls!!! Great, great day, great laughs!!!! Thanks all go gettem!!! Their biting good

A great first trip of the season for sure. We had wind against tide most of the day but pretty consistent action through the incoming.
Jamie got the first fish, Sven of the Hook was on fire with the most and Matt and Joe held their own. I'd say we had around a dozen shorts and 2 keepers. I lost count at 8

Thanks Gerry and Joey for the invite out yesterday! Had a blast and my stomach still hurts from laughing so much. I believe Matt may be scarred for life, pretty sure Sven is used to it. Sven definitely was on fire yesterday, was probably all the extra clams he was sneaking. Love the Helmets on First Ave idea Joey, I think it's an untapped market. Matt will get the first one, then you and your bro will get yours shortly after. Thanks for taking my $50.00 Gerry and for offering to add a little something extra special into the Yeti cooler for the May promotion. Don't forget I left you a little something something on the boat.
