Question Earl Ammo Pier Permits

Anyone know if the quota for permits has been reached for 2014?

Im pretty sure if you are a DOD employee or active duty military there isnt a quota..There is a quota for Diabled Vets, and retired DOD employees and your last place of employement was at Earle..that number is 450..( this is what I gathered from the literature they handed out). I was first on line the day they went on sale.. It seems they are very strict this year on who they are letting on. From what i understand they arent going to be giving out many waivers this year..

The fee this year is $30. You can bring up to 3 guest at $10 each (this is a one time fee).
Retired military are also eligible even if not disabled. This was not the case a few years back. You must have the NJ Saltwater registry card.
See you out there!

Thanks guys. Picked mine up today. Actually wet a line too, but not a tap.

It will be fun learning the pier. Lots of rules. And on the fork, there are no baracades, so one slip and you go swimming
