Default Opening Day Verona Park

Decided to hit the park for opening day to try my luck with the bigguns. Got there at 7:30 and it was pretty packed already. Found a nice opening and set up. Action was steady for the first few hours. Everyone around seemed to be catchin and everything was surprisingly orderly, lol. Saw a few guys tangling up. Caught 10 between me and my brother. All stockie browns and all on spinners. We talked to the C.O. for a minute on our way out. He said 2 breeders where caught. Had a pic of a guy with a nice 6# bow.

Not a bad day at all. Good weather and some fish. Felt good to shake off the skunk and kick off a new season, finally!!!!!!

Way to shake off the SKUNK G! Nice colors on all the Browns I've seen so far this year. Very feisty little Trout, they have some balls. Good catch!

Am I the only one who only scrolled partially down and thought the first pic was an underwater shot?? lol.

Nice day out, looks like the Panther Martins were the ticket yesterday.

Great looking browns - Panther Martins seemed to be the hot ticket this weekend where I was too.
