Water by the Hook was 42 before the blow and now it is 37.9 so a 4.1 degree drop, not unusual.

Where was this crazy drop in temp you found?

Damn. Well that shuts Raritan bay down for a while and with snow coming Monday.... Don't look to good. Hopefully April is kinder to us weather wise.

a lot of snow melted this week plus all the salt that ran off has the salt content higher then normal. March has the coldest water temps always anyway. Don't forget that we also get a runoff of water that comes from NY waters as well.
