Default Ocean Explorer Sunday

1-19-14 The boat headed out to where we have been fishing all week...deeper water,,100ft.,,,I personally took a day to hang with the kids...Capt.Chris B had em into nice blackfish as soon as they started today..Fish were chewing again and few guys had a limit of Togs early in the day...I know some ended up good,,and some not so good but it sounded like a nice bite with the blackfish today.I cant tell you much more but here are some pics he emailed me from the ocean..Kurt had two of the biggest on the boat and took home one of the pools I believe..He is with Dj helping hold up two of the biggest..Looks like 8-9lb.fish.Tomorrow looks good again and we will be heading right back out there first thing in the morning!!I will see ya for coffee in the morning.. actually pics are having tough time loading here..I will get them up soon,,working on the website first but some real nice fish caught today..

Thanks Larry, it has been a fun season.

Owe all my success today to jlrotary for showing up with a bushel of white leggers to share. Doubt I would have caught anything without them.

Nice Catch today, nice size too! I hope you try the inshore grounds at least sometime soon. Tomorrow the water temperature is gonna be warm off the usual inshore spots (almost 45 degrees!!!), I hope you give it at least a try soon. That warm water should really get those resident tog that don't go offshore more active and hungry. Still, you should get them offshore tomorrow as I saw the prediction for 12-17 miles offshore to be at around 40-41 degrees, surface water temp wise.

Ben

Congrats winning the pool. You don't owe any success to me. You just made all the right decisions today, minus not getting in on $10 pool
