GAMBLER Re-cap and Plans for January
I'd like to thank all our customers for a good and prosperous 2013. God has blessed our passengers, crew and captains with safe trips to bountiful fishing grounds.
Our offshore sea bass trips were good. Some big knuckle heads with a lot of variety --including some huge porgies, Pollock up to 35lbs, cod, ling and even a few bluefish. Too bad the unjust regulators have shut down the winter sea bass fishery, even though the stock is completely rebuilt. As soon as the wind stops blowing, the Gambler will make trips for mackerel, leaving at 7:30 and returning by 3ish, thru January. Fare is $60. We plan to fish everyday, but please watch the weather. Any wind forecast over 25knots --we most likely will not fish. I may post a few cod trips, too, so keep an eye out.
