![]() If you were to chose the body of water that produces fluke ALL SUMMER long where would it be?
Rules: Your Marina or dock doesnt count. If you "been their, done that" walk on by, no need to piss on some one elses boredome. Side bars: This is not a spot hunt, I did not say where produces the best fluke, I said if you could pick a place to produce For me: Reach Channel West - close to the Church on Staten Island. for me its relaxing, easy to get to and seems calm when other places are ripping.

![]() Flynn's Knoll always has fluke - not much of a concentration but you can always pick up one or more.

![]() +1 for Flynn's Knoll, those scattered small rocks and mussel beds are prime big Big Fluke Habitat. There are small Seabass and Porgies there during the late spring, summer, and early fall months, thus always providing a food source for those big fluke. The only time you will probably not catch fluke there is if the water temp is higher than 77 degrees Fahrenheit.
One of my all time favorite fluke spots because it is an extememly short ride from AH or the Shrews. and Navesink rivers. SNAPPERHEAD
