mad gaffer blackfish report 12/21 1st day of winter
we had a very good day . our hi - hooks are Dan Simpson and Jessica Pisano (mate on the party boat capt. mike ny should be a super model see pics) with
8 fish each keeping only the limit . a few other limits and people with 4 and 5 Bob Leschinski and Chris Fisher had the 2 big ones Bobs just 12 lbs and Chis's fish over 10 lbs . the wind will keep us at the dock tomorrow but monday on looks good and we will be sailing Xmas eve & Xmas day as well as every day . call fir info & res. .

Thanks for the solid trip capt. Caught fish in some screwy conditions. Winds out of the SW with waves from the SE...and of course current running NE to SW.
Right call to cut it short once the serious winds kicked in. Some solid 6' with the occasional 7-8' made for an interesting ride home.

Forgot to mention. Got this fish on the first drop, had one bite THROUGH a 5" snafu'd crab on the second drop, and came up with one leg after getting crushed on the third drop. Very impressed with the sizes in NJ waters. Rough conditions made "setting up" tough. Next time!
