Default Party Boat Angler Saturday Report

We were right back to where we fished yesterday and had some nice keepers to start but the shorts soon out numbered the keepers. The bow and stern did best today with the sides producing less. I don't think we had any limits today but a lot of guys with 4 and 5 keepers. A tie for the pool today with a pair of 6 pounders. Jose Reyes took 1/2 and Joe Renzo the other 1/2. Joe's father and grand dad had the charter boat BLACK FIN in Highlands when stripe bass fishing was at its best.

TOMORROW IS OUR LATE DAY SAILING AT 7:30 WWITH GALLEY OPEN

NOT SAILING MONDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY THIS WEEK.

THANKS CAPTAIN GEORGE

Wow! Memories! Fished with Captain Joe Renzo on the Blackfin 40 years ago! A great captain and a great guy! Tied up at the dock at the coast guard station (maybe the motor was a little hot ?) would catch live spot hanging around the CC dock and then (when the motor cooled down? Ha!) go and slay 10 lb weakfish - 20 spot = 20 weakies. So cool!
