Default Solid Swartswood quickie 11/29

Well i had "plans" to hit up GWL in my buddy's boat, but apparently waking up at 11:15am is too difficult lol. Registered my new truck, ran home to throw the yak on it, and headed to my friend's house in Sussex County. Helped him get his yak loaded up and we took the 15 minute ride to Big Swartswood. Got a late start, as we got on the water around 3pm. Paddled to one of my spots and had some quick action. Picked up a quick slab Crappie, good sign. Few minutes later hooked into a little Walleye. Just as the sun was setting, I got wacked by what first felt like a trophy Walleye. Brought it up and saw a nice healthy football, quick measurement at 19" and a release. Winds picked up, guides got icey, sun went down and it got colddd. All fish caught on jigs approx. 30ft.

Im guessing u had the White Nitro?? Fresh whip, like da murdured wheels

I saw u guys paddle out around 3, I was in the boat.

u guys flew out there paddling like speed demonds... even left your tie downs in from of your truck & a blooded out red tee hangin out your trunk! lol

Nice fish, I stayed close to the ramp with no luck. Dad got too cold and we headed in after an hour or so.

Might go back Sunday.

And yes..... It was freakin COLD

Thanks man! That was us. We were on limited time, so we had to haul a little ass to try to make it worth it! Going back in the AM to hopefully find some more! Did you guys happen to get a water temp??

Nice mixed bag from one of my favorite lakes. Great job Rob. Some monster Walleye and Slab Crappie in there. Give em hell today buddy!!! Nice Smallie, they get pretty big in there as well. Good stuff!
