Default anything happening in raritan bay?

i got a 19' walleye boat that can handle big water, I would obviously watch the weather/wind. I know theres life out front which I can do if its decent conditions, but if Im stuck in the bay anyone seen birds/life in there. Heard mixed reports I never know what to believe. I know u can work the channels but Im looking to run and gun on fish working bait instead of anchoring and deadsticking....thanks for any info.......pm is good to keep hush

Last weekend it was all outside and some close to the beach.

Watch the tide and wait for the west wind and if you can get around the dredge at the tip, you can shoot down the beach and work the birds

You don't have to go far. There really is not a huge difference between the middle of bay and between channels. Pending on the wind. Even a hard west or northwest you could fish the beach in flat calm water. The bite is on! And worth the chance
