Big Jamaica Striped Bass Report 11-2
Striped Bass Report
The big Jamaica sailed for Striped Bass today. We read plenty of bass today and even saw them on the surface at times, but they were hard to catch. We were not far from the inlet today and there were several areas of Bass. They were caught on gold crocs, jigs and one on a butterfly jig. Along with the bass were big blues. At times we caught quite a few of them. We are sailing Sunday at 7:30AM. The pool winner was: Fred Stamer from Staten Island NY with a 30LB Striped Bass. With the amount of fish we saw today, we will have good fishing when they turn on. We are supposed to have wind from the North West tomorrow and that is usually good for bass fishing. The big Jamaica is scheduled to sail for Striped Bass every day. Monday, Wednesday, Friday, are Marathons sailing at 6AM. Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday we sail at 7:30AM.
