Default tough fishing today

While watching thousands of working birds and bass busting on top all day, we managed two keepers. We trolled, we jigged, we plugged we eeled. In the end we scratched our heads. Hearing a lot about them eating rain fish but our bass contained sand eels.

Down the beach from the hook but not quit at the rocks, stacked n no takers. Blues were eating sea robins on the coney island side (inside ambrose). Crazy day and just as frustrating as it was a great boating day

Going to pull out an ole trick.. next time you see that..

three way swivel - 12 inch lead with a lead / teardrop sinker - on the other end - silverside / sandeel or rainfish teaser and drift on thru

Their are also some nice freshwater plugs / run a smaller rod / reel to handle the size of the plug that can get those babies chewing..

Need to come prepared..
