LOL!! Now that was funny. In San Diego those sea lions are a real PITA! Esp when using live baits. You have to race your bait to the bottom and pray the bastards dont eat it first. Same thing when reeling a fish in, a lot of times you'll just reel up lips on a hard long fighting fish.

Woulda been funny if he had a firmer grip on the fish and a tug of war took place. His buddy grabs him and starts pulling, that pelican there starts pulling with the sea lion, you know, get a whole thing going.
