![]() Finally got out after the blow but had a late start.
Left the dock at 9:30 and headed northeast to some bird activity. Turned out to be tons of bait and small > 13 inch weakfish on jigs. Headed to a spot that usually produces and we were into the mother load. Trolled black and red 4 inch tubes on umbrella rigs and had 10+ bass in 2 hours. Kept 4 for our limit and let the rest go. Only 2-3 shorts the rest were keepers and we were throwing back bigger ones then we already had. Capt Brian |

![]() Had a 4-5 foot ground swell but very manageable . It really laid down by 1 and we had a nice ride home at 25 knots.
The nice part was there was only 6-8 other boats that we saw all day! |
