Colonial Lake

Saturday afternoon I took a ride over to Colonial Lake to see if any of those 170 trout they stocked were hitting yet. I tried behind the bowling alley first no luck. Drove over to the other side of the lake and tried where they stock them. I had a few hits there but couldn't hook anything. Real windy day so it was really hard to tell when you got a hit. One guy caught 4 all on powerbait and he was the only person that caught any. All 4 were rainbows, about 14-16" maybe 2 lbs. each. Total people I saw fishing was 12 including kids. I'm going to try again this afternoon after work.
