Default Any action in Raritan Bay?

havent been in the salt all year just wondering if anyones fished or seen life in the bay yet? I know theres usually small blues and other fish around all the time, sometimes theres good life tho. I have a 19' and stay close and watch the weather just dont wanna head down for a boat ride lol. thanks

Don't know if this helps, but I was on a head boat saturday, and as we came back in around the Hook,there were a lot of boats anchored south of the Bug Light/Officers Row in the bay.. I imagine they were catching Porgies, maybe some blowfish/small Sea Bass etc... If you have a 19 footer, there were tons of blues and small striped bass and weaks , just a mile or so south of the hook along the beach.. thats what I would do if I were you.. Go around the hook and head south along the beach.... There was birds everywhere, bunker flying out of the water, and there were so many blitzes going on, that there were many pods of working birds and frenzied bait with NO boats working them... bob
