![]() Got out with Roy and Todd for some bottom fishing today. Headed down the the SH Reef. I fished for seabass and porgies and they fished green crabs for tog. The tog bite was not there and seabass were all shorts but I managed some porgies in the box. Ran down to the Rocks but same thing no tog and short seabass
![]() Ran back up to the reef and my first fish there was a toy tog caught on squid and a porgy hook. More short seabass followed, must have caught about 60 short seabass, but then Roy got a keeper tog on crab. I lost a porgy rig and at that point figured it was time to give up on the elusive keeper seabass. We had good action with tog, catchin our limit, from about 1 until around 4 when the wind had made its change to the SSE. I ended with 10. Nothin big but catchin them in shorts, no shirt and light tackle was alot of fun ![]() |
