Default Government Shutdown and Beach Access

Just got my buggy permit for Long Beach Township, and was informed that I could only access the first 200 yards of Holgate, but no further, due to the government shutdown's impact on the National Parks Service. Then I found this:

Can anyone tell me if the shutdown of Holgate is being enforced, and/or if they've ever seen rangers or National Park personnel patrolling?
