Default Try Kayak Fishing!

This just in.... To support the New Jersey Chapter of Heroes on the Water, the Jamboree Organizers are raffling off 3 kayaks. These kayaks were donated so 100% of the proceeds goes straight to HOW-NJ. Meaning 100% goes straight to helping our wounded heroes to heal! I believe they are going to sell the tickets one kayak at a time.

Only 100 tickets being sold for this first kayak. Of which no more than 99 are left because I just bought mine

Holy cow! I didn't realize TKFS was a sponsor. I would've been more wordy with my post. TKFS has been an AMAZING sponsor of HOW-NJ too. They organize a jamboree to raise money for us every year, they host two of our events, they provide us free space in their show-season booths, they provide kayaks when we need extras, they facilitate our kayak acquisitions and they host at least two of our outings a year.... I can go on and on and on... they take nothing and give much.

I'm am proud to say that between Pete at Atlantic Bait & Tackle, the good folks at TKFS, the many volunteers from this board and Gerry's support for our cause, the NJfishing.com community is one of the biggest supporters of HOW-NJ in terms of volunteers, funds and equipment!

Thanks to all of you!

The Jamboree is from the 25th to the 27th. I believe they will pull the tickets on the 26th as that's the main fishing day. There will be 3 kayaks raffled and they are limiting number of tickets sold for each. I believe they will sell tickets one kayak at a time. The winner does not have to be present.

Hey Jon - After further inspection it see this Yak has no cooler on it. Oh well, guess I will have to donate it to HOW when I win it. I can't have a boat without a cooler for my fishing beverages
