Party Boat Angler Good Sea Bass And Porgies

I was right on the west wind making the bass bite and we had our best sea bass fishing since it opened. Lisa had her picture taken and fish cleaned before our last stop where she had 7 keeper sea bass in a row giving her a total of 18 sea bass and 42 porgy. She loves her fishing. Very good porgy life again today and there were some trigger fish also.

Besides the fun fight porgies are excellent to eat. Our mates fillet them and spend the extra time to take out the belly bones so they are bone free. I do not think that this is done on many boats from what the customers tell me. We have had sushi from the porgies and they are one of the best fish for this. Add smoked porgy to your list of favorite fish and you will want all you can get.

Sailing at 7:00 am tomorrow and galley will be open.
