Wed Monger Massacre(late report)
Got a last minute call from Capt Jerry that his charter for today(wed) had cancled(are you kidding me???? cancel a charter with the hottest boat on the water???)
So needless to say a couple quick phone calls to the wife(for her blessing) fishing partners Anthony(pizza boy) and Eddie(steady eddie) we were in. Anthony showed up at 345 and we were off Greeted at the dock by Capt Jerry and his mate Dan. Also joining us to my surprise were Rabbi Art and Ipad Doug and we were on our way. An hour later Capt Jerry pulls back on the throttles and says get ready boys....Long story short by 10 am we were limited and by 1130 we had a boat limit(35)No big fish today but multiple 4# fish up to 51/2# and one little sea bass that had to go back. Steady Eddie was on fire today and took us all to school and showed off a little by catching 7 double headers. Anthony got back into form by catching his limit plus. Now is the time guys they are stacking up getting ready for the migration.The day was capped off by having two 8' hammerheads swimming by the boat within casting distance Last edited by bowguide; 09-05-2013 at 03:20 PM..
