The Newell was built by Valley Manufacturing and Engineering in Sun Valley Cali. after Newell went out of business. It came with a Tiburon frame, greased carbon drag washers a Tiburon handle and a 12 tooth anti reverse gear as opposed to the 10 tooth on a stock Newell. They also made improvements to the original graphite injection molding process that made the side plates just about unbreakable.The price is 220.00 firm, shipped. Its mint.

Next is a Lamiglas Cod rod, BL7640 C, 7'6" 20-50lb and 4-12oz. Went for one boat ride. Its also mint as is the Shimano Tekota 500. I don't see myself going cod fishing since my fishing partner moved to Kentucky, so up it goes for sale. The price for the combo is 300.00 shipped and firm. I might split if no one has interest in buying the set up.
