Miss Belmar - GORILLA BLUES TODAY!

Last night, we headed to the North with a nice crowd in search of large blues. We read some fish, anchored up and started catching 8-12 lb blues. We had fast fishing for a little over an hour, it went down to a pick and then it died. We made a move, started to fish again and it died again. This continued through out the night. High hook ended up with 9 blues. All in all, it was a good night. Our pool winner was a 12 lb blue.

This morning, we started off NNE of our inlet. It took a little while to find the fish and once we did, we were able able to jig the first half of the day picking away. We had super readings under the boat at times. We anchored up as the jig fishing died out and ended up catching GORILLA blues on mostly bait, and some jigs, for the rest of the day. It was excellent fishing all around the boat once again! Our pool winner was Ryan Miller from Mifflinburg, PA with a 17 lb blue.
