Head Hunter Canyon Tuna Report 8/26

Boys yesterday was a fun trip where Captain Big Beast Evan supplied his boat and knowledge to a friend for his bachelor party!

And even though it was not a charter....you wouldn't know it from watching the Effort that the Head Hunter crew displayed once again.

The group really wanted a big eye so that is what Captain Evan concentrated on....quality not quantity!!

The crew got a late start on Sunday and almost missed the evening big eye bite!

Once again Captain Evan spent a few more hours than scheduled to try and put a good catch together for people on his boat....even when they are not charter customers!

Final tally 6 nice long fin and another nice bigeye!!

On another note we are booked the rest of the week but still have openings on some open boat trips!!

Give us a call if you want to tuna fish the week of September 2nd...also we will be running an open boat 44 hour marathon September 6, 7, 8th. Cost for the marathon will be $950 and for regular Overnighters it will be $725/person.

We also will be running two regular Overnighters midweek next week!!

Sept. 6,7,8 marathon trip is almost full... Departure will be 10pm Friday returning 6pm Sunday...we have 2 spots left.....we only have 7 spots left total on Laborday and the sept. 4th to 5th overnighters. Our open boat trips are filling up quickly as we anticipate the opening of a good chunk season this year to follow an already banner bigeye bite!!....there is great water moving in that will be holding plenty of yellowfin....which is what everyone is waiting for!

Dont hesitate as you may find it hard to jump on any boat soon! This season is showing all the signs of the way the ninetys was like.
