Miss Belmar nice jumbo blues last night!
Last night, we trekked up to the NE. Looked around and found a small reading of fish and bait so we anchored up and decided to give it a try. We immediately started to pick away at 1-3 blues in the 10-16 lb class. Several times we had shots of 5-6 fish and we boated almost half of the fish that were hooked. Fishing died out around 11:00 p.m. so we made a move and caught another dozen small blues before we headed home. High hook had 7 blues and most everyone had 3-5. Our pool winner was a 16.2 lb blue.
*** The morning trip for the Miss Belmar is sold out tomorrow, Saturday, August 24th. The night trip will be sailing as scheduled at 7:30 p.m. Any questions, please give us a call at (732) 681-0030. *** Sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. & again from 7:30 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.
