Default Ocean Explorer Saturday

8-10-13 Pretty nice day on the ocean with calm seas,,only a small ground swell out of the south..Water was a nice clean green but I think the bottom was a little stirred up with the ground swell...The fishing was on the slow side,,,as soon as we stopped today we had a couple of nice fish come up,,,but as we drifted slowly we would only see an odd fish here and there..Not very good,,not many shorts..Stayed that way most of the day but near the end of the day we started catching some real nice fish in the 3-7lb range..I noticed the guys dragging bait caught almost all the nice fish today,,,the guys jigging struggled I think due to the heave we had had...Glow squids or pink squids caught some real nice fish,,you can see in the pics below..So overall some did well today and had some real nice fish,,and some did not....Pics...I like the looks of tomorrow,,,gonna head back where we left em this afternoon hopefully get em going again!!Pool fish is tough to call yet because there are quite a few close fish.but its a big one worth 720 bucks!!

Bobby, thanks again and as always for the effort you give it. I need to convince the "Slayer" that it's ok to use lead in the form of a sinker instead of a Ultra Minnow jig head!!!
