BOUNTY HUNTER - Open Boat Fluke Report, 8/7
We ran another Open Boat Fluke trip today. On board we had all Bounty Hunter regulars, Mike, Joe, Rich, Paul, Mark & Joe. We had an early morning breeze that made for a perfect 1 Knot drift. Mike wasted no time boating two 5 1/2 pound Fluke in the first hour. Joe followed up with his 4 1/2 lb Fluke. By 8AM the conditions slowly started to deteriorate. 6 oz. was not enough to hold bottom and by Noon 12 oz. did not really do the job. Despite the tough conditions the guys went on to finish the day with 12 nice Fluke while releasing over a dozen shorts. Check the Open Boat Forum for our Open Boat Fluke schedule.
