Default BOUNTY HUNTER - Open Boat Fluke Report, 8/2

Did our first Open Boat Fluke trip today. On board we had regulars Mark, Mike, Dwight, Carl, Rich & Carmine. We had a good drift in the AM and picked away at the shorts and finally put our first keeper in the box. By 9AM the wind died and for the next few hours we had no drift. Two of the crew bucktailed while the other 4 drifted baits. The resullts were the same an occasional short Fluke with plenty of Skates and Sea Robins. Around Noon the wind picked up and we finally got a few bites. The crew finished the day with 8 Keeper Fluke, over 25 shorts and a dozen Seabass.
