![]() 7-31-13 Flat calm again..Water a nice 74 degrees. We started off where we left off yesterday..Had nice fish coming to the net as soon as we stopped...Nice fish to,,3-5lb.fish..Then we had a battle with some big cow nose rays and they made a mess of things..Tangled alot of guys up..We picked at some more fish but definately not as good as yesterday..And it seemed like the same guys kept catching the fish,,guess they just had the touch today which I see alot at times..Some of the other guys,,even the ones bucktailing were cold,,just could not get dialed in..Some even did not catch a short today.High hooks had a limit,,,some even had a cooler full of real nice fish,,and other did not catch a short??Weird day but still a nice one with some doing well and some not so well..Check out some pics..See ya tomorrow.

![]() A lot of reports are saying that dragging bait is more effective right now. I noticed this was true early in the season, in June, but then when the water warmed up, people were catching big ones bucktailing spros. I like to start out with the spros and switch it up if I'm not getting any action. Anyone else notice this pattern?
