Default Tuna Wahoo Weekend Report

We fished the Elk's Fluke Tournament on Saturday with George McCoy and his group, along with most of the other boats on the Eastern Seaboard. We had a great spot for the Shotgun start and ran about as far north as we could without running into New York City ! We had great fishing, boating close to 40 fluke, but I guess we didn't have the right mojo with us because we struggled to find anything over 17 inches. Here's Glenn with a couple we brought home.
Sunday we had the Scolomacchia charter and Paula, Rocco and John had a blast jigging small blues right offshore. We had picture perfect weather in the morning, very few boats out there, and came in early before the weather deteriorated.
