Default Short piggy

Was fishing with shiners and caught her

Not long but fat. Pull down scale was at 3lbs. Caught a couple of crappies too, and then the sky opened up and had to call it quits.

Good looking fish.

Out of curiosity, how big are the shiners you get down in East Brunswick?

I get the shiners from Sayreville Sportsman on Washington Rd. Size is a mix, you get some small and some decent ones.

We always have issues getting the big ones up here in NNJ. Lately the average sized shiners have been getting sold as larges, and our special order "jumbos" are more like larges. Sucks getting bigger live bait unless you catch it yourself .
