![]() 7 – 22 Report
Bluefishing was very good again today. We were catching smaller blues on jigs. The best area was 9 miles East of Brielle. We read plenty of bluefish on the scope and sometimes made long drifts catching fish for almost 1 mile. Everyone was able to catch their limit of bluefish today. Last night the blues did not want to cooperate. Capt. Dale tried several areas but only caught a couple of blues. He was able to bail out the trip when he anchored on a wreck, later in the night, and everyone had a good catch of ling. There was also another area of bluefish 8 miles SE of Brielle today, and reports of more blues further offshore working our way. The big Jamaica is scheduled to sail every day at 7:30AM and every night at 7:30PM

![]() Had a GREAT trip Monday!!! Those smaller blues are the best eating. Morgan did a great job and I liked how he cut every blue's thoat to blead them out. The meat looked great once they were filleted.
Thanks again for a Great trip.
