Largemouth with the feedbags on this weekend

Decided to dedicated some time to fishing this weekend, usually I am guiding my little guy and his friends but with some kids up the house this weekend, little guy was distracted which enabled me to get some hours on the water and let me tell you, it was an all out slaughter on Sat and Sun...

Sat Am - wind was coming SW thru the lake with good push... was fusting around, picked up 6 LMB (one over 4 pds) - nice way to start the week.

My brother comes up later in the day and he really doesnt fish, so I twist his arm to fish dusk with me.. Planned on taking pops but he had a BBQ to attend. Sad for him, he should have came with me.

So I start to fish this area of structure have a nice drfit with the wind pushing us along.. when both me and my brother get slammed the same time on spinner baits.. so I decide to drop one my bouys so I can go back on the same lines...

Well - all of a sudden the water starts to erupt with largemouths chasing bati on top of the water - all to ourselves for 90m - drop and reel fishing LMB's from 14 - 17 inches... I would literally be bringing in the spinnerbait watching another bass trying to chomp on the other spoon that is not in the fishes mouth.

Great times ... had me motivated to fish the AM (flat calm no wind) - so I fish the same area, of course the fish arent stacked up but in three hours - we took over 30 LMB's in the AM.

My other brother is with me now, and is fishing plastics on the bottom / Im fishing spinnerbaits - we are going one for one.. he gets a hit right next to the boat, and all of a sudden a monster LMB comes out of nowhere / almost rocketed out the water and into the boat. Over 5pds / monster of a fish.. He then on picking up another one over 4pds to end the end.

In all - 7 hours of fishing between Sat and Sun AM - took over 60 LMBs ( 2 over 4 pds / 1 over 5pds) - countless 2 - 3 lb fish)

Sat PM / nite - went out for the hybrids, but they werent feeding on top... no dice there..

All fish released in case the thought comes to mind..

First time in a while , a freshwater trip got me jazzed....

Pretty sure that's the definition of "KILLING IT", very nice man. The only Largemouth I saw this weekend were hundreds of pinkie-sized little guys all schooled up.

We caught enough small fish to have a great aquarium going...All the dinks were out to play except one nice one I got......
