Default Fishermen/ Thur. nite fishing

We caught some fluke, some stripers, and some jumbo porgies. We are coming up on full moon week and the current is running hard since Tue. nite. The porgies were the biggest of the season and you needed big sinkers to stay on the bottom. If you are coming down to fish, leave the light rods home and bring out the meat rods. When you get a double header 2lb porgie with a big sinker you need the big guns, also a few stripers have been taken on the porgie rigs. As it was last week, the best fishing has been after sunset until we go home. We will be sailing tonite at 6;30 and fishing for whatever fish it takes to get a few in the boat. So come prepared, bring fluke and porgie rigs and maybe some jigs for any blues or bass also some bigger leads.
