Miss Belmar - Friday jumbo stripers & blues!

Once again, Captain Lenny continued to fish north of our inlet this morning. Did some looking around and jigged a few small blues along with a couple of jumbo blues up to 15 lbs. The bird life then disappeared so we went offshore and caught some keeper fluke and sea bass. He decided to continue to look some more and and boy did it pay off. We started catching very large stripers anywhere from 25 - 45 lbs! There was a ton of action and phenomenal angling this afternoon. We ended up with more than a couple dozen stripers. Below are some pictures. I did not have the pool winner when I posted this report. I will post it as soon as I get it.

this year's striper run has been the most inconsistent thing ever!! here one day, gone for many more, then a random day pops up when the fleet finds them! hoping they stick around for a few days or even weeks now!
