Default fluke hooks

What is a good fluke hook for dragging bait, or for the teaser.

4/0 ~ 5/0 Gami Octopus for the main hook, 2/0 for the teaser.

4/0 baitholder for both, I think they holds the Gulp in place better.

Don't laugh at me, but early last July I switched from a 4/0 gami to a 6/0 gami for the teaser. Noticed a big difference as far as number of hook ups verses fish landed. Two weeks later I switched again, 6/0 to 8/0. Amazing, even the shorts inhale that hook. Hook goes in the mouth, usually comes through just in front of the eyes. Swung a number of fish in the 18-23" bracket right into the boat. That coupled with the swing hook jigs accounted for a few hundred flatties landed during the season. Haven't even thought about going back down in size.

Haven't had a chance to try the special jigs just yet. Waiting for the wave to start.
