Default Question: Are Blues still in Keyport bay area...

I'll be getting my boat back tomorrow after the lower unit was replaced....thanks to someone who borrowed it form the Best Western Motel lot last month. If they touch it again they will get blown out of the water....WE had our yearly Blue fish trip cut short and I'm wondering if they are still there in mass. Had a great time the one day we fish before the theft. Any information would be appreciated ...very expensive trip even with out losing a lower unit...and kicker motor.

Thanks Dr. Bee

Don't have any first hand knlowedge but I would bet a stack on hundreds if you went over to Round Shoal and anchored up in the teens and started chumming you'd get action... Smaller fish but pleanty of action.

PM me and I can give you more details.

I have yet to run into a blitz this season. Looking for some bird action hoping to be able to have some good news for you this Saturday.

You don't need to see birds to catch Blues in the bay right now. Get a bucket of bunker chum, put it in a chum net, anchor up, throw it over the side, cut up some small chunks for your pre tied wire leadered hooks and your deck will be bloody in no time.
