Miss Belmar Sunday big blues slaughter!

Saturday morning, Captain Lenny went jigging north of our inlet. It was really good fishing in the morning catching 1-3 lb blues and then it dropped out towards the end of the day. Ava & crocodiles worked best and limits were had. Our pool winner was Steven Holloway from Rockaway, NJ with a 3 lb blue.

Sunday morning, Captain Lenny ran offshore and found a nice area of big 6-14 lb blues. It was super fishing all day amongst a big spread of fish. They were stacked up under the boat all the way to the bottom. They bit on anything you threw at them from ava's to crocodiles. This is the big invasion of blues we have been waiting for. There is plenty of bait for them to feed on and the water temperature is up to 67 degrees. It was a complete slaughter today. Our pool winner was Andrew from Red Bank, NJ with a 14 lb blue!

Due to the torrential down pours and bad weather today, Monday, fishing was very bad this morning. Most people stayed in the cabin and wanted to go home early, so we did. After such a phenomenal day of fishing yesterday, today was the complete opposite. We're hoping for a much better day tomorrow

We will not be sailing tonight due to the weather. We will resume our normal schedule tomorrow morning at 7:30 a.m.

Sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. & again every night from 7:30 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.
