I am thinking of going fishing for bullheads, can anybody recommend a few spots?

Dude if you want bullheads no need to leave Somerset. Go fish the canal and you'll get plenty and a channel here and there. Oh, and a few turtles...of course.

This. Nearly all waters in somerset county have bullheads. The D&R, the Millstone, the Raritan, even AnnVann pond in Hillsborough can be a fun night of catfishing. Personally, I would stick to the rivers or the canal though because you never know what kind of beast you may pull out!

Google earth or Google maps. Best time to scout is in the middle of the winter with no brush and leaves to get in the way.
There is a path that runs along the canal.

Assunpink...the main lake has some great cat fishing. While there is not a lot of shore access, it is there near the boat ramp all along the shore if you are tied to the bank. Bullheads and channels so look out!
