Miss Belmar - Sunday/Monday striper report
Sunday, Captain Scotty fished North of our inlet looking for jig fish which turned out to be unsuccessful. He anchored up and started clamming. Caught a couple keeper stripers, some shorts and a couple of blues. He then made a move and caught a couple more keeper stripers and some shorts. Overall, it was terrible fishing.
This morning, Captain Lenny continued fishing North of our inlet. It was a cold day and the wind was blowing hard. He read plenty of bunker and fish at times. Ended up catching a couple keeper stripers and had some throwbacks. There really is nothing more to say other than fishing was no good again today. Below are pictures from yesterday and today. Sailing daily for stripers from 7:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and every Friday, Saturday & Sunday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. WE WILL NOT BE SAILING THIS WEDNESDAY, MAY 15TH, 2013 DUE TO COAST GUARD INSPECTION.
