![]() After busting my hump on recently purchased sandy home I stopped by the tackle shop picked up some bunker{they charge by the pound!}.Found a nice cut and went to work,5 min 1 blue, 10 min 2 blues,15min 32"bass,30 min 40'' bass. All bass caught on heads and blues on chunks, had 1 real good fish that almost dumped my spool, tightened the drag and leaned into the rod to try and turn her and snap goes the rod.Kept the big bass as she was bleeding badly, she was spawned out already and had 5 full bunker in her gut.Not bad for an hour in unknown waters.

![]() Nicely done! I also killed a little time on LBI this weekend. I could only get out on the falling tide, which is seldom great for catching on my stretch of local beach, but ended up with one at 33", released FULL of roe, 3 shorts, ranging from 14 - 22, and a couple of missed fish.
They are definitely in the suds with the feed bags on!! Tight lines |
