Default 4/28 fishing..

Three stops today. First stop involved a 25 minute walk thru bear country to reach a good-sized beaver pond. It was pickerel heaven. Water Lily was almost in full bloom making for difficult casting. Got well over a hundred in 4 hrs. No bass. Next two stops were small bass ponds where I got around ten bass in each. All were under 12" except for one nice fattie.

Not a bad size on the picks considering how many there were in the pond. I need to take a trip somewhere next week. Fishing spots down here get worse every year. Bucket brigade, posting and then Sandy wiping out a lot of ponds near saltwater rivers.

none so far. saw one good-sized bear but it ran away from me which was good considering it was bigger than me.
