I originally posted this link.. it had a few responses, and now it seems to have been deleted, and the link posted again here.. No problem of course, but am wondering if i broke rules, or did something wrong or not allowed, in posting the link?.. bob

The day after Superstorm Sandy and friend and I ventured off to RVR and found something sort of similar. Unfortunately, the end result was two dead fish--one of which was a gigantic LMB and the other a decent sized bluegill. See the pic below.
The bass, although fresh judging by the coloration of its eyes, washed ashore and was picked apart by birds. The bluegill lodged in its mouth/gullet was fully intact. Just goes to show you that they'll try to eat ANYTHING that isn't bigger than them! (And that's a size 12 wader boot as reference.) |
